The simplicity of it is really good. You have flatly said it with the right words, right rhymes and within the length.
yes. agree with welkin. it is a beautiful poem. i like that the way it starts, you don't really think it is about rain, and then the rain sort of completes / explains the setting, nothing like a rainy day to self analyze, examine, and take stock. right?
oh and did i say its beautiful? very well written. it is.
